About Us
EASCO is the national trade association representing the self-catering holiday industry in England.
The Association has several roles:
- Represntation - we represent the industry's interests to government and public sector bodies and campaign for our members' interests.
- Services - we provide a free legal helpline and a low cost dispute resolution service, through third parties.
- Information and Support - we keep our members up to date with things they need to know to run their businesses. In today's world of endless regulation and red tape it is impossible for small businesses to be expert on everything that may affect them. A trade association such as EASCO can help you to know what you need to know, and help you to understand it!
- Discounts. We have negotiated some discounts on services that our members may find valuable
Members of EASCO are governed by a Code of Practice that sets minimum standards in the conduct of a self-catering business.
The Association is managed by a Council that represents the various different types of member. The Council members meet their own expenses. The Council meets four times per year, normally in London.
Day to day management of EASCO is entrusted to a Chief Executive who is based in London. The Chief Executive attends a variety of meetings and events on the Association's behalf. The Chief Executive is not personally engaged in self-catering, rather he is a professional manager able to serve the Association without allegiance to any particular interest group.
